Izzue x Underground

Posted in Uncategorized by undergroundshoes on October 13, 2011

One of our recent Underground collaborations was with izzue, the Hong Kong based label, that has been making news with its other high profile link ups with Neighbourhood and Dickies. Although only for release in Asia we have been inundated with requests for the boots and have finally succumbed by making them available online.

The popular Underground Bowie boot has been modified by izzue to include a zip feature apron and a back strip bristling with two rows of spikes.

Underground At Paris Fashion Week

Posted in Uncategorized by undergroundshoes on October 12, 2011

Underground set up camp at WAD magazine for Paris Fashion Week to entertain its International Guests.

Despite the distractions with all the vintage paraphernalia in the superbly retro WAD office and bar, we eventually got on with the serious business of previewing the collection for Spring / Summer.

It was no surprise to see some Underground wearers around, including some of our visitors. I even managed to sneak a pair of one of the new styles (the fluorescent pink and white creepers) and thoroughly enjoyed prancing around in them. Nobody is supposed to have them yet so I had to put them back under the desk and I’m afraid they’ll have to stay there for a few months yet!

Double sole or triple sole?

Rose-marie from WAD magazine took a fancy to the winklepickers

As the Fashion Week road show headed into town we guessed there might be a few Underground Creepers down at Somerset House – we snapped a few of the creeper wearers that were out and about during LFW. You can also find a few snaps on Instyle:
